How did making an outline help you in writing your essay?


The outline of my essay helped me to write the essay easily and quickly. I needed to write outline including thesis statement, supporting ideas, and also structure of the essay in detail before I wrote my essay. To do so, I could remember what I want to state and I could write an organized essay. It did not take much time to write it. It is necessarily to make an outline which have many ideas or opinions about the topic.

What is your topic?

surrogacy


What is your thesis (roughly stated) and what are the main points that support it?

Surrogate mothers should not be allowed in Japan because there are ethical, physical, and financial problems when I think about surrogate mothers and women who ask giving birth and children. Of course, women who cannot give birth children because of physical difficulties have rights to have children, so this topic is controvercial. However, there is another way to have children like adoption except surrogacy. To consider about the advantage of the greatest number of people who are three people involved in surrogacy in this case is important.

Why did you choose your topic?

I cannot choose the position toward this topic definitely, but I have opinion to state about surrogacy. And people in Japan also should consider this problem more seriously. That is why I chose this topic.

The most important issue concerning bioethics is surrogate mother. Just to think of the surrogate motherhood is making me inconceivable. It is true that this have merits for woman who cannot give birth because of physical difficulties. On the other hand, there are problems thinking about it from various perspectives. For example, that may make an impact on the idea of motherhood. If woman gave birth tolerated pain during a delivery even if it is not her own egg, she may be attached to the child. Surrogate mothers will be imposed physical and mental strain. Moreover, in America, people could buy the egg here, buy the sperm there, you could hire a woman there. People should think about these serious problems for goodness of woman and our culture. According to Shannon, consequentialism is one of the method of ethical decision making that frequently used in biothics. To consider the consequences of various answers and to make the greatest number of people think good is important.
